Here in Beitostølen, at the doors of the Ice giant’s kingdom, it is said that the old trapper Håvard was the only human known to be able to befriend the forest trolls. Of course, nobody truly believed him, and he decided to hide in the forest, far from everyone else but close to his legendary friends.

We didn’t believe that story until recently… Our little troublemaker Frigg dug a hole in the ground and discovered a strange map that seems to lead to the old Håvard’s cabin.

Are you ready to become real trappers and follow the clues to his hidden place?

Most importantly… are you ready to meet the trolls?

This guided tour was specially created as a fun way for kids and families to experience a various range of our activities (walking, canoeing, training the dogs...) and most importantly to interact with our dogs and learn about the local legends and wilderness.
